POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Supervisor position works within the management team to help achieve store sales goals and maximizes profitability through effective management and implementation of policies and procedures. The Sales Supervisor takes ownership of management responsibilities’ when a manager is not present and acts as a role model to the rest of the sales team.

 

SALES GENERATION

  • Meet personal and stores goals
  • Develop personal sales techniques and assist in the developments of associates’ sales techniques to maximize sales.
  • Coach the staff on the goals, targets and results.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of how to wear the collection to create complete Comptoir looks.
  • Maintain a keen interest in the fashion industry and market trends.

 

CLIENT EXPERIENCE

  • Support and train staff to provide the highest level of customer service.
  • Build and maintain repeat clientele, utilize personal client book and encourage staff to utilize their book.
  • Resolve all client problems and complaints quickly and effectively, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Assist sales associates with various customer service issues i.e. (returns, defective merchandise, dissatisfied customer)

 

OPERATIONS

  • Performs store transfers
  • Collaborate with Store Manager in areas of risk management, store cash flow, and inventory management.
  • Understand and properly execute all management register functions.
  • Participates in inventories
  • Keep selling floor and merchandise neat, organized, and stocked.
  • Assist in processing shipment when received.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures as outlines in the P&P manual and Employee Handbook and FR G1 audit.
  • Participate in all relevant training workshops.
  • Ensure all shipments received are processed in a timely manner and accepted in the stock management system.
  • Perform weekly/monthly paperwork to corporate when Store Manager is not present.

 

MERCHANDISING/VISUAL

  • Ensure the selling floor is neat, organized, and reflects the brands image.
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of all merchandising directives.
  • Identify product concerns in a timely manner.
  • Communicate inventory needs daily.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 3 years of experience in retail
  • Must be able to speak French
  • Must have leadership skills and act as a role model to sales staff.
  • Must be able to work in fast pace environment with sense of urgency.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to the brands culture.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of fashion.
