Position Overview

 

The Manager of Human Resources and General administration (here after HR and GA) is responsible for launching UNIQLO’s business in Hawaii from an HR and GA perspective.

The HR and GA Manager is responsible in creating HR and GA strategies and execution to support the business, and managing daily HR and GA operations as per HR and GA policies and practices. It also involves development and administration of human resource policies, procedures, and programs (e.g. on-boarding, off-boarding, performance management, training, compensation and benefits, and process improvement). Also ensuring that the administration of Human Resource Information Systems (HR and GAIS) and provides resolution of ongoing employee issues.

 

·         Job Description

·         Leading policy development, employee safety, welfare, wellness and health, and engagement activities together with project members from HQ

·         Managing complete employee life cycle, including recruitment cycle, employee relations, and HR and GA business partnership with Management team

·         Create strategy for professional hire, store manager candidate, store associate and execute recruiting

·         Implementing global HR and GA administrative functions and policies aligned with Hawaiian policy requirements and process controls

·         Being an SME on employment and regulatory compliance and reporting requirements unique to Hawaii State

·         Work closely with third party vendor for payroll, social welfare, office equipment and tax HR and GA

·         Complying with quality, confidentiality, and security standards

·         Adhering to and following quality systems, processes, and policies

·         Complying with training and specifications

·         Maintain office environment in good condition, order office equipment

·         Schedule and travel management of COO

·         Raise office related issues to Global Head Quarter

·         Communicate with property Management Company and other office related third party to maintain office

·         Manage documents from third party vendors, LOB (line of business), store and Head Quarters for payment processing and filing

 

Desired Skills and Experiences

·         Post-graduation education in HR or related discipline

·         2-5 years of relevant working experience in HR

·         Experience of working in an international company and/or shared services HR function is an asset

·         Computer literacy in HRIS/Payroll package and MS Office (Excel, Word, Access)

·         Good organizational skills; ability to take initiative and work independently

·         Accurate and efficient administrative skills with great attention to detail

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·         Ability to work well with people at all levels in the organization

·         Ability to work in global time zones and global teams
