Position Overview:

UNIQLO USA is looking for a talented and energetic Membership Manager. This individual will be responsible for developing strategies for UNIQLO USA’s membership benefits/perks program and drastically grow # of memberships; implementing them across retail, e-commerce, and app channels; and tracking performance and reporting them to the greater organization.

The optimal candidate will demonstrate a thorough understanding of in-store and online customer membership experiences and melding both speed and quality to manage tasks efficiently in a high-volume environment.

 

This position will report to the Director of Omni-Channel. This role will work cross-functionally with UNIQLO USA business functions and external partners, including UNIQLO’s global headquarters in Ariake, Tokyo, Japan.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Understand global membership policies and direction. Translate to the US market.
  • Develop strategy for a UNIQLO USA membership program that can be expanded and iterated across retail, e-commerce, and app channels and align with global team.
  • Work directly on new member acquisition from end to end through external media traditional retail, e-commerce, and app channels.
  • Develop brand/company/community partnership for member growth.
  • Monitor and report on retail, e-commerce, and app KPIs on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Initiate discussion across all key departments and global headquarter team, such as IT, store operations, logistics, and marketing, regarding development and implementation of membership programs and acquisition.

Requirements:

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
    • Preferred areas of focus: Business, E-commerce, Supply Chain Management, or related.
  • 5+ years working experience in an E-commerce/Digital solution/Omni-channel related role.
  • Experience supporting brick-and-mortar retail and e-commerce channels.
    • Preferred: Retailer or retail-focused startup experience. Experience working with an international company, or in an international-facing role.
    • Preferred: Experience with a retailer or e-commerce app.
  • Experience with a retailer membership program, membership benefits/perks, or a retailer credit card program.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities. Specifically pertaining to business insights and program development.
    • Required: Intermediate or Advanced Microsoft Excel experience. Google Analytics experience.
    • Recommended: Basic SQL experience. Tableau or equivalent experience.
  • Leadership skills, Negotiation skills, Inter-personal skills to engage and coordinate between different department.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects effectively.
  • Open mind-set, outside box thinking, can handle ambiguity and uncertainty.
