Position Description

The Product Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the Product Marketing team in developing and executing campaigns, events, sampling and in-market activations for specific product categories within our key markets in the U.S. The individual is also accountable for the review of our product marketing key benefits and functions to ensure accuracy and relevancy to the US market. Expected to perform other duties as assigned.


Organizational Structure

The Product Marketing Assistant will report to the Marketing Manager on the Product Marketing team. S/he will interface with various teams including: Global Marketing, Merchandising, Creative,  Visual Merchandisers,  PR,  E-Commerce, Digital Marketing,  Inventory Planning,  Finance, Store Operations and Store Managers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of the seasonal/product specific marketing plans for the US
  • Provide feedback to Global Marketing and US team on product marketing materials for in-store
  • Assist (and at times lead) project planning and execution in collaboration with other teams/departments
  • Ensure optimized product marketing communication for all product marketing collateral
  • Assist in organizing and implementing in-store and/or in-market product marketing events
  • Assist in managing new vendor and purchase committee forms and submissions for approvals
  • Assist in managing product marketing budget and invoice processing
  • Conduct business analyses and post marketing campaign reviews
  • Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality


Professional Qualifications

  • Education: College graduate (Bachelor’s Degree)
  • Experience in working at a start-up or small scale company
  • Familiarity or experience with retail and/or consumer marketing (preferred)
  • Skilled at managing projects (resources, assets, budget, information, and timelines) 
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to communicate and interface well across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and work efficiently and effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • This position may involve stooping, kneeling, climbing, crouching and lifting up to 20 lbs., as well as regular walking, standing, hearing, and talking.
  • Requires ability to distinguish color, involves close vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
