Position Overview: The Site Merchandising Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of daily, weekly, and monthly updates on to achieve business goals. This position will be integral in partnering with our Global team in Japan and our Merchandising/Planning, Digital Marketing, Development/IT team and others in the US to ensure that products, pages, and all other site updates are launched on time.


The ideal candidate will have experience with business planning, project management, and a strong background in site operations, including working with content management systems. This position will also be responsible for overseeing two Site Operations Specialists and will report into the Director of Site Merchandising.





  • Create weekly and monthly site plan based off of business plan in partnership with US Merchandising team and Global Headquarters
  • Partner with Site Merchandising director to formulate marketing plan for each month
  • Analyze daily/weekly/monthly sales performance by product and category division to formulate site strategy
  • Analyze key site performance KPIs using Google Analytics


Site Experience/Operations

  • Prepare and QA all new homepage refreshes and site category pages
  • Oversee Site Operations Specialists and perform weekly site audits to ensure a flawless site experience that is timely and relevant to the customer and in support of sales goals
  • Work with both internal/external Product Management/Development teams to detect, troubleshoot, fix and prevent layout or content issues affecting the production site as well as suggesting enhancements


Project Management

  • Act as a Project Manager for all category page launches and other site projects (from briefing to execution) working with the Creative and Development teams
  • Partner with key cross-functional teams as a key stakeholder in the US to ensure messaging and presentation alignment between PC/Mobile and store


Global Asset Management

  • Work closely with Global Headquarters to ensure that all assets that are needed are delivered on time
  • Work proactively to make suggestions to improve current processes/site layouts and identify needs of the US business
  • Serve as the key point person for site updates for all global collaboration projects



  • 3-5 years of experience in Site Merchandising and working with CMS systems required (Demandware experience preferred)
  • 1-2 years of experience in Project Management
  • Experience with analytics platforms (Google Analytics experience a plus)
  • Experience managing a team
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently and manage your time and deadlines, as well as the ability to adapt to the ever-changing priorities of a fast-paced e-commerce business
  • Detail and results oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A highly motivated self-starter with an understanding of customer’s needs, the product, and the competitive landscape
