Position Overview: The Assistant Site Merchandiser is responsible for the execution of daily, weekly, and monthly updates on Uniqlo.com to achieve business goals. This position will be integral in partnering with internal teams (Merchandising/Planning, Digital Marketing, Development/IT team and others) in the US to ensure that products, pages, and all other site updates are launched on time.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site operations and project management, including working with content management systems.


Responsibilities:


Planning/Analysis
 Execute weekly site updates based off of Uniqlo US business plan
 Analyze daily/weekly sales performance by product and category division to assist Site Merchandising Managers in formulating on site merchandising strategy

 

Site Experience/Operations
 Perform extensive site QA for all of Uniqlo.com to ensure an optimized shop floor
 Own and execute all on-site merchandising operations in content management systems (product merchandising, banner setup, page creation, linking strategy, etc.) to create a flawless site experience that is timely and relevant to the customer, in support of sales goals
 Work with both internal/external Product Management/Development teams to detect, troubleshoot, fix and prevent layout or content issues affecting the PC and mobile sites.
 Work proactively to make suggestions to improve current processes/site layouts and identify needs of the US business


Project Management
 Partner with key cross-functional teams as a key stakeholder in the US to ensure messaging and presentation alignment between PC/mobile and store


Qualifications:
 1-3 years of experience in Site Merchandising
 Experience working in content management systems (Demandware/Salesforce experience preferred)
 Experience with analytics platforms (Google Analytics experience a plus)
 Ability to work quickly and efficiently and manage your time and deadlines, as well as the ability to adapt to the ever-changing priorities of a fast-paced e-commerce business
 Detail and results oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
 A highly motivated self-starter with an understanding of customer’s needs, the product, and the competitive landscape
